I too baked a superior, huge chocolate cake last weekend, for my Dad’s 85th birthday and associated lunch party at our place.
The before-mentioned HSC kid got their marks, and a mention on the honour list for standard maths. The release of their pressure gauge was interesting to watch - the wave of relief took some time for them to process.
