I’m not too worried about my face or socks, but losing my spirit, relevance and visibility are less easy to handle. I still want to conquer my little microcosm of the world, but it’s getting harder to ignore the call of afternoon naps.

I hear you - although I have succumbed, rather delightfully, to the afternoon nap

I’m on level 53. Soon I’ll be on level 54. Hoping to get to level 100 some day.

The invisibility and rudeness is the bit I hate about getting older - 1967 vintage here, but having more years means I've experienced more love, heartache and life than those who try to influence me with their passing fads. I do not want to do crew socks (or bubble socks) again!

I'm 45 (shit, I almost wrote 43!) and I don't feel old so whenever someone says "oooo you're old" I say "Nah, not old, just older" and I hope I keep getting older.

I AM old, not as old as some, but a lot older than others. But I'm okay with that.

Thank you for your kind words, always xxxx
